iGlobal
iGlobal is the portal for International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), available both within the United States and internationally. International students and scholars have access to iGlobal
through their New School accounts. International students and scholars use iGlobal throughout their time at The New School for purposes such as applying for an I-20 or DS-2019, viewing their SEVIS ID number, checking in, requesting additional services,
and reading emails sent by ISSS.

What can I request in iGlobal?
If you are a new international student or scholar applying for your I-20 or DS-2019, please use the following e-forms:
All international students and scholars can request or apply for the following services under the General Services tab:
Students with an I-20 from The New School can access services under the F-1 Student Services tab.
Students with a DS-2019 from The New School can access services under the J-1 Student Services tab.
Scholars with a DS-2019 from The New School can access services under the J-1 Scholar Services tab.
Can I request copies of documents previously issued by ISSS?
ISSS issues updated I-20s and DS-2019s to F-1 and J-1 students and scholars when they are reporting updates and making changes to their SEVIS records. All current and previously issued I-20s and DS-2019s and certain ISSS-issued letters can be found in iGlobal under the Documents section of their record. (Documents issued before 2018 may not be available.) It is students' and scholars' responsibility to maintain and make records of all original immigration documents. Although students and scholars can retrieve previously issued I-20s and DS-2019s and certain ISSS-issued letters, we cannot provide copies of other documents such as passports, visas, and I-797s. Current students and scholars who have lost their most recently issued I-20 or DS-2019 can request an I-20 or DS-2019 reprint in iGlobal; they will be issued an updated I-20 or DS-2019 reflecting their F-1 or J-1 status at the time of the reprint.
SEVIS
The Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) is the database maintained by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for students and scholars on F-1 and J-1 visas. Each school must report information to DHS through SEVIS in a timely
manner. ISSS does all SEVIS reporting for students and scholars at The New School, who report to ISSS through iGlobal.
For information about SEVIS and SEVIS requirements for students and scholars, please visit the official DHS website, Study in the States.
What is a SEVIS record?
A SEVIS record is a record in the SEVIS database of your F-1 or J-1 status information. Your I-20 or DS-2019 is a printout of your SEVIS record. It shows official information provided by ISSS (program start and end dates, authorized reduced course load,
study abroad comments, etc.).
What is the I-901 SEVIS fee?
Regulations require all prospective F and J students to pay the I-901 (SEVIS) fee before being issued a visa by the Department of State. To pay the I-901 SEVIS fee, visit fmjfee.com to
access the SEVIS Form I-901. Watch the I-901 SEVIS fee payment tutorial to learn about the payment process.
