    Requirements for the BA in History at Lang

    Introductory courses:

    • 2 2000-level History courses (6–8 credits)
    • 1 Foundation course (3–4 credits)

    Other required courses:

    • 7 History electives (5 must be 3000 level; at least 1 must be 4000 level) (21–28 credits)

    Senior Capstone:

    • LHIS 4900 Senior Thesis Seminar (4 credits)
    • LHIS 4990 Independent Senior Project (4 credits)

    Total History credits required for the major at Lang: 38–48
