Applications to the MFA program will be reviewed by an admission committee comprised of the director of the Writing Program, members of the faculty, and admission counselors. The writing samples are the most decisive factor in this review, but letters of recommendation, academic transcripts, and your statement of purpose are all carefully evaluated as well.
The MFA in Creative Writing program accepts applications for fall semester only; the application deadline is January 15. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure receipt of all materials by the deadline.
