Information Sessions

Members of the faculty, admission and student services staff, and members of the student body will be present to discuss degree programs, describe professional opportunities in their fields and answer questions about the upcoming academic year enrollment. Information sessions are scheduled at convenient times for working students.

Graduate Application Workshops

These monthly offerings provide prospective students with the opportunity to learn about the application process and how to build a strong application for admission consideration. Financial aid information is also shared.

Individual Appointments

Milano invites prospective student to have a one-on-one meeting with a counselor at the Office of Admission. Individual appointments offer an opportunity to discuss Milano programs and how they may fit your future educational and career goals.

Thirty-minute appointments are available from Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, please contact us at 212.229.5462 or email us at milanoadmissions@newschool.edu.

Student Guided Tour of Milano

Come and join us for a Student Guided Tour of Milano and The New School. A tour will give you an opportunity to get acquainted with the school and with current graduate students. Tours are available daily, Monday through Friday, at 12:00 p.m. They are also regularly scheduled prior to the Milano Information Session at 5 p.m. All tours leave from 72 Fifth Avenue, 3rd Floor.

Class Visits

Prospective students are encouraged to get to know faculty, current Milano students, and the academic climate at Milano by visiting a class.

In order to make your class visit as enriching and rewarding as possible, please give us at least two weeks' notice and provide several class options from the current schedule of classes. There's no better way discover what Milano has to offer than to sit with Milano students in a class.

Extended Day Visit

An extended day visit offers you an opportunity to sit in a class, meet with faculty, take a student-guided tour, and/or arrange a counselor opportunity. You can choose any combination available. Providing us with at least two weeks' advance notice will ensure that your visit will be rewarding. Confirmation with the details of your extended vist will be sent by email.
