Lang relies on the generosity of alumni, friends, corporations, and foundations to support our students and enrich our programs. Every donation, on every level, has an immediate impact on the school and serves as a catalyst for generating additional support and greater enrollment. Prospective donors regularly consider the support from alumni and others when considering extending support to the university.
How your gift can help:
Annual Fund
Annual Fund contributions from alumni and friends give Lang the strength and flexibility to support our students, faculty, facilities, and programs. Unrestricted gifts contributed on an annual basis have a direct and immediate impact of the quality of the education we offer. The small size of Lang’s endowment makes annual unrestricted giving to the school especially important to our success.
The Parent’s Fund
Parent’s are a critical resource for Lang. The goal of the Lang’s Parent’s Fund and the Lang Parent’s Leadership Council is to raise unrestricted dollars and support the Dean’s vision for Lang’s future.
Alumni Giving
We encourage our alumni to join our donor community as soon as they graduate. Every dollar counts, and alumni participation at every level makes an impact on the students we recruit and the education we provide them.
Bernard & Irene Schwartz Scholarship Challenge
Over one-half of our students receive financial aid, and contributions are pivotal to their success at Lang and throughout their careers. Gifts to the Lang Scholarship Fund provide our students with the flexibility they need to pursue their studies in New York City, legendary for its high cost of living; and reduce or avoid the debt they may carry when they graduate. Through the generosity of a member of the Board of Trustees, every dollar raised for scholarships in the next four years is eligible to be matched 1:1, doubling the impact of these gifts.
