RUFF CUTS sessions are open to all Media Studies and Documentary Media Studies students as well as any student from another New School program who would like to receive constructive feedback on their works in progress or simply participate in the discussion. Each session, professors from the department of Media Studies and Film are invited to participate in the dialogue with students as they share their production works in progress.
Works done on any format are welcome (film, video, audio, websites, performances). Six to nine works will be reviewed, time permitting.
In order to have your piece included, please RSVP to ruffcutsrsvp@gmail.com , stating your name, title, genre, and TRT (total running time) of your work if applicable. Please bring your work on DVD or a portable hard drive.
