Online Employment Site

The Office of Human Resources has implemented an online employment application system in order to automate the University’s recruitment of faculty and staff members. Hiring managers can log on to create requisitions, view applications and select final candidates by accessing the online employment site.

Career and Advancement Opportunities

The University is supportive of employees who wish to enhance their careers. To find out what positions are available at the University, employees should consult job announcements posted in departments throughout the University and on the on-line bulletin board, please visit the online employment site.

Vacant positions, which fall within the clerical bargaining unit, will be posted in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Members of Local 1205 may have bidding privileges on positions that involve promotions. For more information, please refer to the Local 1205 Collective Bargaining Agreement.

An employee's indication of interest in an opening will not affect his/her current position. However, once an employee is being seriously considered for a transfer or promotion, he/she must notify his/her current supervisor. After the current supervisor is informed, the hiring supervisor may choose to confer with the current supervisor about the applicant's candidacy.

In-house Temp

The Office of Human Resources has established an In-house Temp pool to provide temporary relief work in the area of office support. Individuals from the In-House Temp pool are employed on a per diem basis, earning between $13–$15 per hour, based on experience, and they do not receive any benefits. If you are interested in contracting an In-house temp and/or if you know of anyone who would be a prime candidate for the pool, please contact Rian Brooks .
