Nearly the same as an undergraduate degree program, the Mannes Extension Division Diploma Program offers students an opportunity to study music at the college level in an intensive and systematic fashion.
The program provides maximum flexibility in both scheduling and in arranging the curriculum to mesh with the applicants' musical backgrounds, varying levels of ability, and outside business or professional activities. It is designed to be completed in three years of full-time study. Accelerated or part-time study is permitted, but there is a two-year residency requirement and a minimum of 6 credits (half-time) each semester must be maintained.
