At Parsons, we learn by doing, and in an internship, you do just that in temporary positions that introduce you to a range of jobs and settings. Some internships earn you credit or pay, but all expose you to industry best practices and enhance your professional
experience and network. And, because New York City boasts the country’s greatest number of creative jobs, you can choose from nonprofits and firms representing the full spectrum of creative employment. Recent placements include Nike, HBO, and the
International Rescue Committee.
- If you are an undergraduate, make an appointment to meet with your Success Advisor (academic and career advisor) via Starfish to identify and register for internships. (You can email [email protected] for other kinds of career-related appointments.)
- If you’re a graduate student, email [email protected]. The university’s Career Development and Experience staff are also on hand to help and offer relevant resources.
Visit the university internships page to find answers to frequently asked questions about registering your internship for credit, grading, and requirements.
